From datasheet to first good board.
A shop-floor toolkit for SMT operators. Pick your machine and it sets itself up. Then it turns a 40-page datasheet into the dozen numbers you program, checks every reel before it goes into a feeder, and keeps the whole shift working from the same page.
- 1Pin 1 and the first pin on each side
- 2Pitch e, labeled like the datasheet
- 3Center pad D2 × E2
- 4Body D × E
- 5Height A in the side view
- 6Lead width b and length L, magnified
One app, every major brand
The first time it opens, PnP Toolkit asks which machine you run. It then uses that machine's words for nozzles, tools and feeders, keeps a setup sheet for each machine, and names the programming software you'll type the numbers into.
- ASM SIPLACE
- FUJI
- Yamaha
- Panasonic
- Juki
- Europlacer
- Hanwha
- Universal Instruments
- Mycronic
- Desktop and other machines
Running more than one brand? Switch machines from the button at the top. Each machine keeps its own nozzle and feeder choices.
Built around an operator's day
One app from the first look at a BOM to the note you leave the next shift. Every tool feeds the next one, so data you capture once shows up everywhere it's needed.
Before the job
- Kitting list straight from the BOM
- Spares per line, tape widths, MSL flags
- Feeder slots numbered and saved with the job
- New parts captured from a web page or label
At the machine
- QFN decoder with true-scale drawings
- Tool and feeder for every package
- Load check for every reel
- Rotation helper for pin 1
During the run
- MSL floor-life timers and bake times
- Mispick log that finds the bad feeder
- Warnings before a reel runs out
- Unit converters and tape math
End of shift
- Handoff note that writes most of itself
- Open bags, problem feeders, load status
- Team file to share parts, setups and jobs
- Scanner log for troubleshooting
The numbers you program, nothing else
Type the drawing values as printed, like 0.18 0.25 0.30. The app picks the nominal, checks the math and draws the part to scale.
- Every value labeled with its datasheet letter: D, E, A, e, b, L, D2, E2
- Top and bottom view, because datasheets usually draw the bottom
- Catches mils typed as millimeters, leads that won't fit the body, and gaps tight enough to bridge
- Flags HotRod and flip-chip parts that must not be built as a normal QFN
Point the camera, check the form, save
Photograph a reel label, a DigiKey or Mouser product page, a setup sheet or a dimension table. The app reads it on the phone and fills in a form, outlining where each value came from.
- Skips the distributor's number and keeps the maker's part number
- Works out the package from the description, like "2917" on a tantalum → case D
- Paste a product link or the page text when there's no photo
- Save straight to My Parts, the QFN decoder or the machine setup sheet
BOM in, kitting list out
Paste the BOM from Excel. You get one line per reel with the quantity to pull, spares, tape width, MSL level, and the tool and feeder your shop uses for that package.
- Reads Murata, Samsung, Yageo, Panasonic and TDK part codes for chip sizes
- Leaves out DNP lines and flags quantity mismatches
- Number the feeder slots and save the job by name and revision
- Copy, download as CSV, or print
Every reel checked before it runs
Scan the reel with the camera, a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner, or type the part number. The answer is instant and hard to miss.
- On this job, with the slot it goes in
- Close, but not the same part when only the suffix differs
- Not on this job for anything else
- Reel counts from the label give a warning before a reel runs out mid-job
The next shift starts where you stopped
Log mispicks in two taps and the worst feeders rise to the top, with a suggested fix. MSL timers count down each open bag. The handoff note pulls all of it together.
- Bake times from the J-STD-033 table
- Problem feeders from the last 12 hours
- Load-check progress and short reels
- Copy the note into a text or email
The mistakes it's built to catch
Each one is a real way a pick-and-place job goes wrong. Each one has a check in the app.
Put in your own numbers
Every shop is different, so the figures below are examples. Change them to match your line and see what the hours and avoided mistakes are worth.
Change any number on the left.
No IT project required
It's a web app. Add it to the home screen and it opens like any other app, with its own icon.
After the first visit it keeps working when the shop Wi-Fi drops.
Photos are read on the phone and never uploaded. Data stays on the device until you share a team file.
The tool and feeder table starts empty and holds your shop's own choices, not guesses.
Up and running in ten minutes
- Open the link
On the phone or line PC, open the app's address below.
- Pick your machine
Choose your brand and model. The app sets its wording and setup sheet for it.
- Add to home screen
Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen. Chrome: menu → Install app.
- Fill in Machine setup
Enter your nozzles and feeders per package once, then share the team file so everyone has them.

It is not made, endorsed, sponsored or supported by ASM, FUJI, Yamaha, Panasonic, Juki, Europlacer, Hanwha, Universal Instruments, Mycronic or any other equipment or parts maker, and it makes no claims otherwise. Package values in the app are typical industry sizes. Always confirm against the datasheet for the exact part number you're placing, and check the first board before running a job. Savings shown on this page are examples, not guarantees.
